Welcome to my wellness journey!
I’m Sage Slee,
a certified health coach from Primal Health Coach Institute, specializing in nutrition & fitness personal training.
My mission is to help you unlock your full potential and embrace a balanced, vibrant life through personalized wellness strategies.
My passion for health began at a young age. At 13, I developed a deep interest in nutrition, functional movement, and mental well-being. At the age 16 I was led to a career as a model, but it was also during this time that I faced significant challenges. I found myself trapped in a cycle of trying countless diets, falling into disordered eating, over-exercising, and dealing with hormonal imbalances. This left me feeling exhausted and lost.
The turning point came when I took charge of my own health and well-being. This pivotal decision ignited a deep passion in me to help others achieve their best physically and mentally.
I am dedicated to guiding others through their own wellness journey, offering support and strategies to cultivate a balanced, nourished lifestyle. I specialize in supporting young to middle aged women who are ready to improve their fertility, hormones, functional movement and nutrition. The goal is to get you well on your way to successfully implementing a better lifestyle. Whether you want to improve your diet, enhance your fitness, or find mental clarity, I’m here to provide the tools and encouragement you need.
Outside of my professional life, I find joy in gardening, cooking nutrient dense meals, camping, hiking, traveling and going to the beach. These activities keep me grounded and motivated to inspire positive change in others.
Thank you for visiting my site. I’m honored to be part of your journey toward a healthier, more fulfilling life. Let’s work together to create lasting wellness and vitality!
Love,
Sage Slee
As a proud member of the Paiute (Bishop, CA) and Miwok (Yosemite, CA) tribes,
I am deeply connected to Native American traditions that inform my approach to holistic health. Native American holistic health offers a comprehensive approach that addresses multiple dimensions of well-being, including the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of life.
Our perspective on health goes beyond merely treating physical symptoms. We believe that true wellness involves nurturing the whole self, which often fosters a deeper sense of purpose and connection. By integrating emotional, mental, and spiritual dimensions into our health practices, we can achieve more profound and sustainable improvements.
A key aspect of Native American holistic health is its emphasis on community and relationships. Strong, supportive bonds with family and the wider community are essential for mental and emotional well-being. Community ceremonies and gatherings play a crucial role in strengthening social ties and enhancing collective health.
Traditional Native American health practices include methods such as herbal medicine, sweat lodges, and talking circles. Today, these practices have evolved but remain rooted in their cultural origins. Modern equivalents like herbal supplements, saunas, and close-knit support systems continue to address physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, reflecting the enduring wisdom of these traditions.
Personal responsibility is central to our approach. Individuals are encouraged to listen to their bodies, engage in self-care, and make lifestyle choices that promote balance and harmony. Viewing the body as a sacred vessel underscores the importance of nurturing it through healthy practices.
Balance and harmony are fundamental principles in Native American holistic health. We believe that equilibrium among the body, mind, spirit, and environment is crucial for overall well-being. Disruptions in one area can impact the whole self, highlighting the interconnected nature of our health.
Nature holds a special place in our health practices. It is seen as a source of wisdom and healing, with traditional practices often involving natural remedies, seasonal cycles, and alignment with the rhythms of the natural world.By embracing these principles, we honor the rich traditions of our ancestors while fostering a balanced and meaningful approach to health and well-being.
